My favorite time of year is upon us. See how I celebrate.
Fall has officially been upon us as of September 21st, and I am so excited!

(If you got it, then great. If you didn't, then you might need to brush up on your music)
I was born and raised in the Midwest (Columbus, OH), so summer is usually my favorite season since it comes and goes in a blink of an eye. However, I haven't lived there in over five years, and this summer in Atlanta seems to be never-ending. Although we are still experiencing 90-degree days in the ATL, I’ve already had my share of pumpkin spice lattes and bought a pumpkin and mum (which is already dying because I can't keep plants alive) for my front porch. Now, I’m just anticipating the crisp autumn air, seeing the leaves change colors, the smell of pumpkin everywhere, boots, sweaters, and everything else fall related. The most amazing part of this time of year is indulging in all of the fun-filled fall activities. A lot of these activities started as family traditions when I was younger (shout-out to my parents for being amazing). There's just so much to look forward to this season. Here is my fall activity bucket list:
Buy fall decor (pumpkin, mums, pumpkin scented candles, etc.)
Visit a pumpkin patch
Take a hayride
Visit the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, TN
Visit a haunted house
Go to an apple orchard
Bake a homemade apple pie with picked apples
Get lost in a corn maze
Carve a pumpkin
Eat apple cider donuts
Bake pumpkin bread
Make spiked apple cider
Attend a football game/tailgate
Watch scary movies
Attend Fright Fest at Six Flags
Attend a Halloween/costume party
Make homemade soup
What is your favorite fall activity or tradition?
I can't wait to see how many of these activities I'll actually get done this year! Hopefully, you enjoy this fall season as much as I do and can find at least one thing to do off my bucket list to welcome this season with open arms.
